| The
idea for Naked Soap Co. came in 2007 when my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. We
became obsessed with studying what contributes to
cancer, from the food we eat to the products we put on
our skin.
We started reading labels of
bathroom products, food products, every product that
goes in or on our bodies to try to avoid using
detrimental ingredients that all of us have probably
heard about but don't pay too much attention to.
We started studying about chemicals such as SLS and
petroleum by-products, and were horrified that not only
can they be so harmful but they are also in most if not
all of the products that we all use on a day to day
basis.
So we decided to try to go back to the
way things were once upon a time and make our own.
We were so impressed by our products that we gave some
to friends, family and neighbours to try, they loved
them so much they came back asking to buy them!
And so Naked Soap Co. was born.
